Who is Bike Works?

Bike Works is a valuable community resource, that provides bikes and teaches the skills needed to maintain those bikes to everyone. Their core values are centered around building community and accessibility, therefore the branding must be inclusive to their primary demographic. Approachability is a huge consideration given they are a non-profit corporation, with youth programs being a primary focus.

The Problem to Solve

Their brand has become outdated over the years and currently lacks a cohesive visual identity. 

Their People

Local youth (ages 8-18) from underserved communities (BIPOC / LGBTQ). Interested in bikes, bike mechanics, building a bike, volunteering, and youth programs. Want to learn skills, make friends, stay active, sustainable mode of transportation.
