White Center Block Party

Branding & Logo Design

What is the White Center Block Party?

The mission for first annual White Center Block Party (WCBP) was to raise money for the victims and businesses affected by all the fires. White Center Block Party focuses on creating a safe, family friendly, and inclusive place to gather for everyone. White Center Block Party aims to support and promote local businesses - restaurants, bars, retailers, artists, and musicians.

The Problem to Solve

WCBP was under new management and the event was being revamped from head to toe. Obviously this meant that the brand needed a refresh that focused on accessability and inclusivity.

The Neighborhood

White Center Block Party is organized by an all volunteer group of small business owners from the White Center neighborhood. All funds collected from the Block Party go towards paying for all of the costs associated with the event, including permits, performers, etc. A small amount is set aside to fund the next neighborhood event (like the Trick or Treat event we hosted last year!). All other funds are then donated to one or more local non-profit organizations!
